We took this free city trolley to the jail!
This is the jail cell that they would put the prisoners who tried hurting themselves. It is all padded, so they will not be able to injure themselves.
This is the jail cell where the drunk people would go. As you can see, there is a drain in the middle of the cell, and it is caved inwards. If you are not catching the hint, it is for them incase they pee themselves, or throw up on themselves.
Getting my mugshot!
Mom and Dad's mugshots!

Touring the jail was really cool and something that I really enjoyed. My favourite part of it was finding $20 on the ground! Acting like a prisoner was not as scary as I thought it would be. The females lined up on one side, while the males were on the other. We had to get searched, lift up each of our feet to see if anything was on the bottom of our shoe, open up our mouths, life up our tongues, and so on. We then had to sit in a jail cell. Once it was 'night time' in the jail, all of the lights shut off immediately. It was pitch black as there were no windows or anything in the cell. We had a young boy in our cell, who started crying and screaming once they lights went off, so luckily ours were not off for too long! I felt bad because he was so afraid! I am very glad that we got the chance to tour the cell and act as prisoners!
This was our last afternoon in Melbourne, and the view of Flinders Street Station was gorgeous as always.
It was finally time for Mom and Dad to check out Townsville! I couldn't wait!
