On Monday, the following day, him and I decided to go out to lunch together in town. We ate at a place called Great Northern Hotel. It was like a pub, with pokies, and a bar. Leighton picked this place because I was craving buffalo chicken wings, and he said that they had great barbecue buffalo wings. I was so excited. When we got there to order, the bartender told us that the original chef was on holiday (vacation), so they were not serving wings :( But instead I had a grilled chicken and bacon wrap with chips (french fries), and Leighton had a steak sandwich with chips (fries). We both loved our meals. It was so nice getting away from the dining hall for once, since they always have the same food, which isn't too good..
