Tonight is my last night in the states. I spent the day running last minute errands with my mom and making sure my bags were all packed. I ended up getting both suitcases finally under 50 pounds.
Then we ended the night going out to dinner with my family and a few friends. We had a great dinner and it was a great way to spend my last night home.
Lastly, I ended the night having to say goodbye to my absolute best friend and my roommate of the last two years. This goodbye was very emotional, but I know we will be reunited soon enough. Well it is time for me to go to bed. I am meeting Sara and Becca at the airport at 5 in the morning to catch a flight at 7:40! Then we have a 14 hour lay over in LAX before leaving for Australia at 11:50 at night! I will keep you posted!
I hope that I never have to say goodbye to my family and friends for this long ever again..
