Riverway Lagoon

Yes, we spent another day at Riverway Lagoon. What else are we supposed to do on our days off? We are so blessed with such a beautiful environment with amazing weather here. On our walk to the pools, we were around George Roberts’s area, when a huge wasp stung me. Siena said she saw it on me and has never seen a wasp that huge, but Australians say it is common. I instantly screamed as I tried to hold back tears. The sting hurt so badly. Luckily, we weren’t too far from campus, so I ran back to put some Benadryl on it. It was perfect timing as we ran into Leighton, and he offered to give us a ride. So I guess I took one for the team (a wasp sting) to get a ride!

On our walk home from Riverway Lagoon, we saw many turtles enjoying the beautiful day in the river. We even got to see a wallaby hanging out, so that was pretty cool to see. It was another great day lying out by the pools.
